Tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August of 2017. The successful candidate will provide instruction at both the undergraduate and/or Master’s levels in the successful candidate’s area of expertise; advise/mentor undergraduate and graduate students; provide service to the department, college, and professional organizations; develop an active research agenda that leads to nationally/internationally refereed publications and presentations; seek external funding for research; direct graduate/undergraduate research projects. Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Kinesiology or related discipline, ABD considered; Specialization in Sport Philosophy, Sport Ethics, or closely-related field. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience and evidence of University-level teaching ability to successfully deliver undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in two or more of the following specializations: ethical issues in kinesiology, legal aspects of sport, social-psychological aspects of physical activity and sport; evidence of research productivity.
